Landing – Stortford Fields Community Management Trust

Stortford Fields near Bishops Stortford, Herts, is a new community of 2,200 homes by developers Taylor Wimpey, Vistry, Persimmon and Tilia. Alongside new homes there will be brand new facilities including two new schools, a local neighbourhood centre, sports facilities, a mixed-use community building, allotments, play areas and green open spaces.

The Stortford Fields Community Management Trust (SFCMT)has been formed to own, manage and protect community buildings and spaces for the benefit of residents and the wider community. The Trust will be applying for charity status.

The Trust Board will be made up of residents, people from the voluntary, community and conservation sector, developers, housing association and East Herts District Council representatives. The first two Directors have been appointed, and we are now looking for two resident representatives to join the Board.
